Cricket and commerce

Well, I was wrong about the outcome of the last test match. England bowled well enough and Australia certainly batted well but in the end the pitch and the weather demanded the draw that they got. Sometimes sport, like life, goes flat; doesn't it? Never mind, the next test match begins on Friday and life and business goes on.

With the exhausting business of final editing and touching up the cover designs now done, Going with Gabriel is close to galley print time and I can get on with my sales tour of the shops with our Pictures and Poems cards, calendars, prints, On Wester-Ross booklets. So it's Beauly and the East today, Ullapool and the north tomorrow, Inverness Monday ...

Dee meantime is selling our stuff at the 3-day Aultbea market that began yesterday after our regular Tuesday market, down the road at Poolewe. We keep busy, busy. And that's good.
